We are working for the Thai public sector to shape forward-looking economic policies focused on strengthening specific industries, resolving critical economy-wide issues (e.g., enhancing national and regional competitiveness with the Ministry of Commerce), and improving corporate governance practices.
Our office is a short skytrain ride away from the Chao Phaya River, a busy artery of commerce and home to Thailand's Royal Palace; the Wat Po temple; markets; and five-star hotels. Nearby is also Bangkok's state-of-the-art shopping district, offering a set of linked shopping malls with high-tech goodies, contemporary Thai design, and art and antiques. The IHT recently called the area the largest roofed shopping area in the world.
As part of McKinsey’s Southeast Asia complex, we joined our sister offices for our retreats in Hanoi, Vietnam, and Khao Lak and Phuket, Thailand. These retreats are a great time to meet our colleagues across this part of the world, explore the local sites, and have some fun in the sun.
