After graduating from Harvard Law School in 1997, I joined McKinsey’s Boston office. Since then, I have worked in numerous McKinsey offices around the country before helping to open our Philadelphia office in 2005. Now I lead the North American Financial Services Practice, focusing on technology and operations issues. In addition to financial services providers, I also serve clients that provide products and services to financial services firms.
McKinsey unites an extraordinary range of accomplished individuals who come from various countries, academic backgrounds, and professional disciplines. Many of them are Wharton alumni. Wharton grads make terrific McKinsey consultants because of the analytically strong, well-rounded, team-based curriculum at the Wharton School—not to mention, they are great fun to be around!
McKinsey has a rich recruiting history from Wharton. We are proud of the following facts:
- Currently, more than 50 partners in the firm are Wharton alumni
- There is at least one Wharton graduate in 67 of McKinsey’s more than 90 offices
- Five Wharton alumni are currently McKinsey location managers
