Undergraduate Women's Impact Award

McKinsey & Company invites undergraduate women at select U.S. campuses to apply for a financial award and a McKinsey mentor to support summer plans in global public health, economic development and opportunity creation, sustainability, and/or social innovation and technology, among other topics.

Hear from some of our previous winners

"The McKinsey Women's Impact Award allowed me to pursue my research on community engagement and leadership in the slums of Bangalore.  I had the flexibility to design my own initiative and the mentorship to expand and evolve it.  It's a unique grant because it offers expertise from the private sector to refine goals in the social sector. My mentor, Maria, helped me to think about how I could scale up micro-finance initiatives with young women in the slums."

- Tara, Duke Impact Award Winner 2015

"With the McKinsey Impact Award, I was able to work full-time on the project Tink Knit last summer and eventually compiled a 70-page report of our Pilot Program, providing a deep insight into our venture’s strengths and weaknesses. It gave me the opportunity to restructure our team and adjust our business plan based on the suggestions from McKinsey consultants, which was extremely essential to our success in the following semester. I learned a lot during this meaningful experience."
