Women as Future Leaders invites female students and early stage career professionals to take the next step on their leadership journey.

Women as Future Leaders invites you to stretch and challenge yourself by attending our Inspire event, which will take place from 14th-15th September outside of London, UK.

In this exclusive two-day workshop you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, hear from inspirational leaders and learn how to better play to your strengths. You will get to know other professional women, meet McKinsey consultants and participate in workshops, discussions and networking.

What is Women as Future Leaders?

Women as Future Leaders (WFL) was launched in 2014 to accelerate the development of female leaders in the UK and Ireland. The network is part of McKinsey, which provides an environment where you can shape a distinctive career learning new skills and make an impact with organizations worldwide. We are looking for people who:

  • Actively seek ways to stretch themselves and their skills
  • Enjoy problem solving and creative thinking
  • Thrive working with other people

Eligibility

To be eligible you need to identify as female, currently be based in the UK or Ireland and:

  • Be a current undergraduate, masters or PhD student* from any degree or university background, OR an early stage career professional, who graduated (undergraduate or graduate) in 2015 or later
  • Hold an outstanding record of academic and/or professional achievement
  • Have a proven record of leadership in an academic or professional setting

*Please note that you are not eligible to apply to this event if you are are currently studying for an MBA or are about to begin an MBA.

How to apply

To apply to attend Inspire you will need to submit your CV (max 2 pages), which should include details of your education (including grades), work experience as well as extracurricular activities and achievements. The deadline for applications is 12 noon (London time) on Monday 26th June 2017.
