Location
The North American Global Concepts research analyst position is only offered in Atlanta.
Candidate Qualifications
Ideal candidates for the North American Global Concepts research analyst position:
• Have an undergraduate degree from a four-year accredited university with course work in key areas, including mathematics, statistics, economics, English/language arts, and communications.
• Are self-motivated.
• Have the ability to quickly learn a given area within the payments industry.
• Have a high degree of curiosity about the payments industry.
• Have excellent verbal and written communications skills (writing samples must be included with any applications for employment).
• Have a strong aptitude with Microsoft Office applications.
• Have a working knowledge of SPSS (a plus and not required).
• A strong interest in technology and business.
Position is located in Atlanta, GA only.
Training
The GCI office provides for the development of its personnel, to help them grow professionally in the area of payment systems. These opportunities may include formal and informal McKinsey training classes, internal development within Global Concepts, payment specific conferences and meetings, and Global Concepts's own industry forums.
Career Path
As your experience increases over time, consulting/research analysts have the opportunity to gain seniority in the Global Concepts practice office including rising levels of project management, research, and direct client involvement. Former analysts gain the opportunity to work in bank operations and with other payment industry vendor positions.
