Diversity and inclusion networks
At McKinsey, much of our days are spent in teams—it's a big part of our culture. Accordingly, we spend a lot of time thinking about:
- how teams work
- how to make them better
- what makes a great team
What we've learned is that the recipe for a successful team includes lots of different people, perspectives, backgrounds, and ideas.
Diversity and inclusion is not a program at McKinsey, it’s not an effort or a department. It’s who we are and what we respect. As you get to know McKinsey, you’ll see we are women and men, individuals with disabilities, straight and gay, single and married, with biological kids, adopted kids, foster kids. We represent every race, gender identity, and religion you can imagine. We are nanotechnologists and novelists, engineers and educators, analysts and app developers, mathematicians, and military veterans. We are all different and that is our strength.
We support all our people with unparalleled professional development, networks, and mentoring. The more we can develop their strengths and inspire inclusive leadership, the more we can contribute to a better future—within and well beyond McKinsey.
