Sharpen your problem solving skills and techniques by exploring this tool that details McKinsey’s problem solving process. This self-paced resource can be viewed in its entirety or as independent modules to individually investigate key steps in best-practice problem solving. Early tenure consultants can use the Problem Solving Mentor to fine-tune skills learned at Basic Consulting Readiness (BCR) and to prepare to attend Initial Leadership Workshop (ILW). More senior CSS will find this resource helpful in coaching team members.

Learn to build on your natural strengths and hone your skills through real-time practice, watching yourself on video, and getting feedback from trained facilitators.

Learn the valuation techniques that will enable you to become a thoughtful strategic advisor to clients. Discover and practice the core set of financial analysis and valuation skills that will help clients assess the shareholder value implications of decisions. Participate in a simulated engagement in which you will explore and apply the core concepts of valuation and practice the five key stages of the valuation process: historical analysis, cost of capital, forecasting, continuing value, and interpreting results.
