Can I apply to an international office and a North American office at the same time?
You may apply to an international and a North American office at the same time. You can list up to four worldwide office preferences on your online application. We will review your application on behalf of the North American offices and will have it reviewed by any of the overseas offices in which you express interest. If you are selected by North American offices and overseas offices, we will contact you and ask you to decide which interview process you would like to pursue. You must choose between North America and overseas offices because the interview processes are separate and the timing is a bit different. It is possible that you might be selected either by North America OR by an overseas office – not both. If this is the case, we will assume that you will pursue the interview process with the region that has selected you.
Do I need to submit an essay? Where can I preview the essay question?
Current PhDs, MDs, JDs, post-docs, and non-MBA master's degree holders will be asked to complete one short essay on teamwork. You can preview the essay question here. If you are currently in a medical internship, residency, or fellowship, you do not need to submit an essay with your application. When prompted to do so, please submit a “dummy” blank word file.
How do I know if my application was submitted successfully? When should I expect to hear a response from my recruiter?
You should receive an email confirmation within 24 to 48 hours after you submit your application. This email confirmation will include general information about next steps. Please refer to our website for application deadline information.
I am going to be out of the country on the date of the interviews; what should I do?
Once you have submitted your application and are selected to interview, we will work together to figure out the best way to have you interviewed if you should have a scheduling conflict.
If I’m turned down after an interview or on my application, when can I reapply?
We ask candidates to wait at least 18 to 24 months before reapplying so that they might have an opportunity to gain experience that would lend itself to a more successful application review/interview process.
