Operations
Our operations work rests on access to proprietary datasets from over 60 front end fabs and 30 backend plants. By comparing current operations against best-in-class performance we identify improvement opportunities at a granular level.
To help clients realize these improvements, we draw on deep expertise in Lean operations. Using workstation-level diagnostics we help find ‘hidden capacity’ in fabs. In test and assembly, we optimize throughput by reconfiguring facilities.
We also help clients drive bottom line results by focusing on cash-cost optimization. Recent examples include projects to increase procurement efficiency by leveraging second suppliers and to optimize materials consumption within fabs and assembly facilities.
Sales and Marketing
We help our clients create winning go-to-market strategies by anticipating market trends. This means, first, understanding the evolving needs of design engineers within different segments of the electronics industry. Second, it means determining the eco-system and technical capabilities that will be needed to win. Third, it means creating the right approach, tools and collateral to drive sales.
Working directly with sales organizations, we also help drive field sales effectiveness by creating tactical account plans, redefining sales operations and support processes and tightening role definitions. In this type of work, and others, we also help clients leverage the latest sales automation / IT tools.
In pricing, we analyze sales transaction histories to find areas of price leakage, and to understand customer price sensitivities. From this, we work with clients to design pricing guidelines and approvals processes that capture leakage without compromising sales win/loss ratios.

Transactions and Corporate Finance
We help clients develop and maintain acquisitions pipelines by drawing on our proprietary database of semiconductor startups. This helps us identify potential strategic fit and possible sources of value based on strategic/operational benefits from integration. We also support our clients through M&A transactions—from strategy, valuation and due diligence to post-merger integration.
