Roles
You will need to know which consulting role you are applying for when you begin the online application process. There are various different consulting roles open to you based on your background and experience, and whether you are seeking a permanent role or an internship. Learn more about the roles we offer.

Locations
You will need to provide us with location preferences. McKinsey has more than 80 offices in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Each office requires you to be familiar with the region and fluent in the native language, as well as English. Our offices tend to focus on the major industries in their region. If you would like to dedicate yourself to an area, several of our practices hire candidates directly.

Although we receive applications from individuals with varied academic and professional backgrounds from around the world, we ask all our applicants a common set of questions.
